The Calvinist Cadet Corps strives to serve all of the counselors and boys involved in Cadets. The health and well-being of each individual needs to be considered in our decisions and actions. Our leaders try to show the boys what it means to follow God’s guidance, including listening to the authorities He has placed over us here on earth, and in taking proper care of ourselves.
With this in mind, the Calvinist Cadet Corps, along with the planning committees of Camp Great Lakes, announce that Camporee 2020 is being postponed. The new dates are not yet known, but they will be in the summer of 2021.
We understand the disappointment this will cause for some, and for that we apologize. Registration fees already paid will be automatically refunded in the near future.
Further details regarding the exact dates and other changes will be communicated once they are known. Check the website, https://camporee.calvinistcadets.org for future updates.
These are challenging times we live in. Our concepts of normal and routine are shaken weekly, daily, and sometimes even hourly. Our plans are being changed almost as often. Many are looking for something solid and consistent in their lives at this time.
As Cadets, we have that consistency. Through all of this we continue to be Living for Jesus. We know that we are living for a God that remains the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. This is what we strive to teach the boys every time we meet with them. Our God is there for us in all areas of life – spiritual, social, physical and mental.
We look forward to getting together in a year, at Camp Great Lakes 2021.
Living for Jesus,
