Please arrive at/or before 9:00 a.m.

Families of Cadets

Sunday is the official Family Day of the Cadet International Camporee, and families are welcome to visit camp. That doesn’t mean the whole family can’t also camp nearby…

If your family would like to camp near Camporee, we recommend:

Campark Resorts Niagara Falls:
https://campark.com/

KOA Niagara Falls:
https://koa.com/campgrounds/niagara-falls-ontario/

Accommodations at these sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the Calvinist Cadet Corps has no special arrangements with either of these locations. We recommend you make your bookings as soon as possible.

Traveling to Camporee

We HIGHLY recommend a passport when traveling to Camporee for the smoothest border crossing.

If driving across, a passport card will work.

Cadets under the age of 16 can cross with a birth certificate but we do not recommend this if they are not traveling with a parent.

If you have more questions, please check the Travel Canada page at travel.gc.ca/travel-covid.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Cornel Rylaarsdam Memorial Fund

Some families would like to send their son to an international camporee, but they simply don’t have the financial resources to make it work. The CRMF is available to help pay part or all of the registration fees for individuals who need help. The request is reviewed by the Steering Committee of the International Camporee.
