Information for Families of Campers
Campers can be picked up beginning at noon on Wednesday, July 26.
Priority will be given to buses and vans with passengers that need to get to the airport.
We anticipate a very busy pickup area – please be patient.
Families and friends of Camporee attendees are invited to the Sunday worship service:
10:00 a.m. on July 23, with a meal to follow
Please arrive at/or before 9:00 a.m.
Dress for the weather, bring a lawn chair and a water bottle.
The camp will be an “open house” until 3:00 p.m.
There will be signs to help you find the Sunday parking area. Once there, you will be directed to a parking spot and then a shuttle will take you to camp. Shuttles will be running back and forth at regular intervals from camp parking to the Camporee site.
Families of Cadets
Sunday is the official Family Day of the Cadet International Camporee, and families are welcome to visit camp. That doesn’t mean the whole family can’t also camp nearby…
If your family would like to camp near Camporee, we recommend:
Accommodations at these sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the Calvinist Cadet Corps has no special arrangements with either of these locations. We recommend you make your bookings as soon as possible.
Traveling to Camporee
We HIGHLY recommend a passport when traveling to Camporee for the smoothest border crossing.
If driving across, a passport card will work.
Cadets under the age of 16 can cross with a birth certificate but we do not recommend this if they are not traveling with a parent.
