Family Camp – Riverbend campground
If you have a cadet or counselor attending Kamp Longview, you already have a reason to go to Alberta. Why not make a vacation out of it by staying at Family Camp? Family Camp is located close (40 miles/64 kilometers from the camporee site and about the same distance from Calgary International Airport) to Kamp Longview and gives families a chance to vacation in the area while Camporee is going on.
Riverbend Campground is the Kamp Longview designated family campground.
A Kamp Longview host is available at the campground, and we are planning a day trip with a coach to the Rockies for families staying there.

I have “attended” nine Camporees by camping with the wives and families. We have made so many wonderful friends and made wonderful memories. My parents were with us at many of them and now we will go wherever our son attends. They are such a blessing for the boys, the men, and the families. Especially the Sunday worship services. Please send your sons and husbands and then camp with us at the family camp!
